The hand-control is connected with
the control unit by a cable and contains all controls:
- to the right, a green key for
the upward movement.
- to the left, a green key for the downward movement.
- in the center, a red key for the EMERGENCY STOP.
Due to the circuit arrangement the lift
can only move while one of the two green keys is pressed.
If the pressed key is released, the movement
stops immediately.
If the battery is not sufficiently charged
for a complete bathing process, the lift can no longer be
driven downward. However, the lift can always
be driven upward, to make it possible to get out of the tub.
By pressing the red
EMERGENCY STOP key all functions of the lift are suspended
immediately.
To resume the function - release the
red key - press the green key (for safety reasons it is only
possible to move in opposite direction).
Those parts of the hand-control which
are under power are protected against water penetration by
a seal. The hand-control is buoyant and can be put into the
water.
In the center between the three keys
there is a red control light.
A solid red light indicates a dead battery.
Upward movement is still possible.
The battery must be charged.
